ServEquip has come up with an answer for caterers trying to cope with summer demand for ice cream, milkshakes and smoothies.
The company is the exclusive UK distributor of the One-Shot Revolver blend-in-cup solution, where a single machine can supply a wide range of drinks from smoothies and slushes to milkshakes. It can make iced coffee drinks as well, allowing caterers to keep abreast of growing market trends.
It works by blending the drink in the cup given to the customer, the secret lying in the SMART blending lid which contains all the working parts.
One-Shot Revolver lids are available as both disposable, single-use blending versions and as re-usables. Several of the latter can be purchased and rinsed between use with still no need for a blending jug; this reusable lid is also ideal when making crushed ice drinks.
When preparing beverages that include frozen fruits or ice cubes, a special feature called pulse programming can be used to ensure perfect chopping, grinding, whipping or blending.
The container is mechanically clamped in position during blending and a touch-panel display allows users to select the blending time required.
The One-Shot Revolver is also available to 'make your own', with colour and branding available for special back bar attention.
